“I curated this piece for The Silent Narratives because it speaks volumes without making a single sound. There is an incredible, unshakable dignity in her posture—her hands resting gently, her eyes closed in total, grounded peace.
What makes this drawing so captivating is the artist’s use of contrast. The incredibly soft, delicate shading on her face is framed by bold, sharp geometric blocks of pure black. It feels incredibly modern, yet deeply rooted in the past. Look closely at the subtle details: the beaded necklace rests like an heirloom passed down through generations, and the geometric band across her forehead beautifully echoes the traditional Tatreez of our region.
Crowned by the quiet glow of a moon or sun above her, she is a vision of inner sanctuary. I chose this piece because it represents the quiet, enduring grace that we carry within us, shielding our inner peace from the chaos of the outside world.”

Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
Exchange Policy
Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery for defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items.
Exchanges for a different size, colour, or product are subject to availability.
Custom-made, commissioned, personalised, and final-sale items are not eligible for exchange.
